Robin Reid is an Extension Farm Economist with the Agricultural Economics Department at Kansas State University and serves as the Ag. and Natural Resources Program Leader for all of K-State Research and Extension.  Robin works on a variety of economic topics including farm financial management, Women in Ag. programming, Farm Bill, and much more. Robin also helps manage the AgManager.info website and works with Extension Agents across the state to put on extension programs. Robin grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and earned a B.S. in Agricultural Business from UW-River Falls.  She also holds a M.S. in Agricultural Economics from K-State.

Projected Tradeoff Between 2019 ARC and PLC

Since official FSA data has not yet been released to determine benchmarks for the ARC-CO program, this spreadsheet uses SCO (crop insurance) data to estimate the 2019/2020 ARC-CO guarantee in each county for each crop.  This gives producers an initial picture of when ARC-CO and PLC payments will kick in at different MYA prices.

Note: An estimate is given for irrigated and dryland guarantees in each county.  Some counties will have a combined ARC-CO guarantee that cannot be estimated at this time.
