Ag Profitability Conferences

Multi-county conferences
presenting agricultural economics information to producers. Each conference
is sponsored by county extension services. Most conferences take place
between December to February.
Lease Workshops
- This series of day-long
workshops is being offered throughout Kansas to help landlords and tenants
manage the risk associated with rental arrangements.
Excel Workshops
- This one-day workshop provides
hands-on Excel training. The workshops will use laptop computers to allow
participants to create their own spreadsheets.
Planning for the Future Conference
“Passing on the Family Farm or Agri-Business”
- A one-day workshop in
Concordia, KS on March 31, 2012 to help farm families prepare for
transitions and change.

These
workshops introduce producers to an integrated marketing/production
management approach that combines both crop insurance and alternative
marketing techniques.

Lenders Conferences are designed to provide the Kansas financial community
with updates on current agricultural topics.
MAST (Management Analysis & Strategic
Thinking)

skills in agricultural producers. By learning farm management tools and
their applications, participants are equipped to cast a vision for their
businesses and handle the challenges of the changing landscape of
agriculture..
2011 Kansas Income Tax Institute
- Now in its 63rd year, the
Kansas Income Tax Institute provides relevant information in time for the
tax season as well as continuing education credit for those in associated
professions.
