From the recent K-State Ranching Summit, Dustin Pendell and Mykel Taylor promote the idea of cow-calf operators and crop producers partnering on herd grazing arrangements using crop residue, cover crops or winter wheat pasture, for mutual economic benefit, going over cost-to-return budgets.
